Thought of the Day: I've changed my 'About Me' page up top. In summary, the change comes down to an invitation for anyone so interested: that if anyone wishes to correspond with me in friendship, community, and fellowship, that person may read anything I publish for free.
Truth is, this isn't a new policy by a long shot. I have a few correspondents, and I've always let them read my work gratis. They take the time to write to me; they take the time to reach out and connect; and so I reward them for their decency and time. I've been doing it for more than ten years; I just think it's time to make it public.
We live in a world of desperate, cold loneliness and anomie. I as much as anyone--arguably more than most--have suffered in that world and its sad consequences. Just because you have your nuclear family in suburbia and your 9 - 5 in a cubicle farm doesn't mean you don't suffer too. You do. Study after study after study confirms this.
