Notes: Whew! Nearly half my workday today was spent editing this chapter. In the process I ended up adding 300 words, not tallied above, and burning my brain down. The chapter is in the 9.3K range now, with maybe 2 - 5K remaining, making it the biggest chapter in the entire story arc to this point.
