Shaw! No! What the hell!

------

Have any of you watched any of The OA? We're watching the second season, which was just released. A very intense, involving, emotional series. Materialists and literalists and the unimaginative have had a field day criticizing it, but don't let their three-percent megaphone put you off. The subject matter is right up my alley, and the acting and directing is superb. Plus, it has Jason Isaacs. You can't go wrong.

Other linkage I've been spending time on:

*A great version of "Cruel Summer" featured in the excellent, the outstanding, the amazing Cobra Kai.

*Mary Mouser and Tanner Buchanan of Cobra Kai eating lots of food and talking about behind-the-scenes while on set. She's such a hottie; and I can't imagine the girls aren't going nuts for him, like they are for Xolo MaridueƱa. Ah, to be young again.

*Another song from Triumph that I'm considering adding to Melody's Musicscape.

*A fantastic cover of "House of the Rising Sun" by Connor Engstrom. Don't miss it.

*Resisting the Self-Help Craze. Watch and start detaching yourself from the multibillion-dollar self-help industry, which doesn't give two shits on a cold shingle about you and your happiness, only separating you from your cash.

*Olive Snook's songs on one of the best-best-best TV series ever, Pushing Daisies. Kristin Chenoweth is the shizzle, yo.

*Because something so beautiful and divine should be shared widely. I miss you, Your Highness. Your charge is alive and learning and will return to you.
