Extra notes: This blog has been averaging more than a hundred pageviews a day over the last month. Pretty cool.

------

I'm editing my LOTR fan-fic project. I'm blown away that I started it five years ago. That time has passed like nothing. It's pretty freaky.

I'll be adding at least two more chapters to it this year.

------

Book Two of The Cheapery St. Heroes is almost ready for launch. I'm on what I've called "Stage Three Edits," which also involves reading the chapters aloud to Kye (or her to me), one a night. Once those are done next Monday, I'll take a day and format the manuscript, and then launch the book.

Pretty cool!

------

I'm also progressing on an illustration for Book Three of Melody, what I've titled "Becoming." I think there will be at least two other illustrations in it. I haven't started those. This Book is very affecting: it's an emotional read, very inspiring. My early guess is that it's going to be large--as in as large as Book One. I'll keep you informed. There's a long way to go yet.

------

I hate Starbucks Coffee, and never drink it. It tastes like pigeons took a wiz in liquid caffeine. Just ... gross.

That said, if Howard Schultz decides to run for president, thereby giving Donald Trump a solid road for a second illegitimate term, I think everyone should boycott Schultz's jittery overblown wiz-flavored corporation and let him know that we aren't interested in his "centrist" politics.

There is no such thing as a true centrist anymore. Those who claim to be are in truth closeted Trump supporters. You can't support both decency and indecency at the same time. Deal with it.
