Tasks

1. Failure: Off till Thursday

2. Book Three Melody: 800 new words

3. Ant Story: Off till Wednesday

4. Fractalverse: Off

5. The Cheapery St. Heroes: Book Two: Third secondary edit of chapter five

6. Dread Pirate Roberts: Off

7. Firefly: 600 new words
Notes: I love writing this fan-fic.

8. Rapscallion: Off till 11/7
Notes: I'm eager to get back to this project, which I haven't looked at in a dog's age!

Special: None today

Extra notes: We're on something like our fifth watch-through of Cobra Kai. What a terrific show that is. I can't wait for season two to start. It's affecting, well-written, funny, inspiring, and honest. I keep looking for a trailer or something to tide me over, but nothing has been uploaded yet.

Two somebodies bought The Angel's Guardian recently, which is the latest novel in Melody's saga. That was a couple rays of light during a general day of dismalness yesterday. Thank you, whoever you are. I hope you enjoy it.

Another right-wing whacko, another bunch of innocents shot dead, this time in Pittsburgh. I write about soul death all the time. It's a true fascination of mine. What this country is going through is the realization that far too many of its citizens are soul dead, and that the soul dead hold nearly all the reins of power. When you refuse to see past the end of your nose; when you refuse to employ genuine scientific principles to seek and understand the truth about physical processes (climate change, anyone?); when reason and morality are quaint concepts easily discarded for an ideology that allows you to be an utter prick; when cynicism and hate are all you immerse yourself in day to day (Fox News, Facebook, Twitter, 4Chan, ad nauseam) ... then you are probably soul dead.

We are far more than just matter, folks, no matter what materialists claim to the contrary. Until we begin to recognize that, we can expect more of this vile crap to descend on us. It's as simple as that. We are spiritual beings first, physical beings second.
