Writing start: 10:20 A.M.
Finish: 3:35 P.M.
Total new words (est.): 1000 + new poem
Edited (est.): 6800

Tasks

1. Failure: Align edit chapter five

2. Book Three Melody: Off

3. Love Story: Read-through

4. Ant story: 500 new words
Notes: Back to the struggle not to anthropomorphize too much!

5. Fractalverse: New poem
Notes: Surprising one that came out of me today about freedom.

6. Firefly: Off

7. Gilligan: 500 new words
Notes: I can see the end of this chapter.

8. Slum: Off

Extra notes: Thai food tonight. Errands in Brookings tomorrow. Our dorky kitty keeps scratching and licking herself, which is a concern. A visit with the vet tomorrow. Maybe we can afford an appointment. Maybe not. We'll see.

This has been a productive writing week. Moving from that toxic environment has definitely helped. It's hard stimulating one's creative juices when you're afraid to walk outside, or can't stop imagining the latest act of horrific animal abuse by the owners.
