Extra notes: I didn't get to the projects I wanted to today, save for a couple. I'm not really upset with myself. I spent most of my workday reading about and watching videos of the March For Our Lives March.

Melody and Yaeko are two young heroes out to save the world. They would've marched today with Emma Gonzalez and her classmates. When I think of it in those terms, my abbreviated workday doesn't just sound okay, as in acceptable, but patriotic. I'm not blowing my horn here; I'm merely doing what I can to participate and to lend my voice, meager as both may be.

It must be remembered that the NRA and their slobbering politicians are not nameless and faceless blobs of malevolent energy, but actual people attempting to advance an immoral and malicious agenda. Evil is always corporate--always. And evil always hides and strikes from the shadows--always. When a bright light is shined on it, it always shrinks and fades--always. That's what today's march was all about: shining a bright light on the mendacity and malevolence of individuals who, corporately, have turned a blind but very profitable eye on this nation and its principles. The NRA has perverted the meaning and intent of the Second Amendment out of all reason. And the politicians the NRA has bought and sold these many decades have loudly and legislatively advanced that profaning--at the expense of hundreds of thousands of lives.

I am deeply inspired by these students. Many millions of Americans are, including law-abiding gun owners who also feel that the NRA does not share their views. This isn't a Democrat versus Republican issue; this is a human issue. The only ones politicizing it are those desperate to manifest the NRA's agenda of continued brutality, bloodshed, governmental control, profiteering, and the continued suppression and oppression of people of color and others they don't like.

They will lose. So help us God.
