Pierwalker Log: February 6, 2018

Lots and lots of work accomplished today. I knew it was going to be a big day today; it was.

Writing start: 9:56 AM.
Finish: 3: 07 PM.
Total new words: 700
Edited (est.): 9K

1. Book Two of Angel: Chapter Eleven (Stage 1 Edit)
Notes: Add-ons checked; the new connections on a fresh read hold.

2. Failure: off/Mon.

3. Book Three Melody: 400 new words.
Notes: Connections to Otoro's story coming into play here. Details on the destruction of Imperium Centrum.

4. Watson: Read-through of current unfinished chapter. It's good but unfocused at this point. Pacing may be a problem; chapter length and where the story should segue into the next chapter also a concern.

5. Book Two Cheapery St.: Off

6. Rumpel: completed primary edits of chapter one.
Notes: A good start to what will probably turn into a novel. Posted to blog, Archive, and Wattpad. Issues with formatting on all three. Grrr.

7. Dread Pirate Roberts (2): 300 new words in chapter four.
Notes: The full crew of the Revenge has finally been listed!

8. Slum: Off today (unscheduled).
Notes: I'll get to a read-through of the 100 or so words I've got there tomorrow. Today's formatting issues (see above) fairly well burned me out. I've got a lot to write about regarding this latest dream, and am looking forward to diving more deeply into it.

Extra note: It's important to realize that just because your fan-fiction has a quarter million hits, that you have any talent as a writer. Just because you're popular at anything doesn't mean you're good at that thing. In fact, more often than not, you're not. You achieved that fame through other means in all likelihood. I don't begrudge anyone their popularity, necessarily. But when it takes the light off of more talented artists, I certainly do.
